Between the Lines
After the heydays of the BFO in the 1970's, bassist Mark Addison pretty well devoted himself to folk and roots music, playing in the ceilidh band Higgledy Piggledy, and moving on to The Old Parrot Band, where he sharpened his song writing skills. He spent a lot of time writing songs for other people which ultimately led him to form the trio of Between the Lines with Phil Biggs and John Blanks, who have become regulars at Buckland.
Phil and wife Kim also play with Mark in the ceilidh band Akmed's Camel, and all three have more recently lent the "Celtic connection" to Americana and country band Crossing the Tracks.
At the time of writing, it is hoped that Phil and Kim will be joining Mark for this year's Buckfest, with songs and tunes from their joint musical ventures.
